FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Are LegalDock documents legally valid in Denmark?
Our templates are written with Danish legal content and references to the relevant legislation. A digital signature falls under eIDAS as a simple electronic signature (SES) and is valid for most agreements, such as contracts. Note, however, that some documents have special form requirements: a will must be signed before a notary or two witnesses, and a few documents require a physical signature or registration. If in doubt about a specific document, seek legal advice.
Do signers need an account?
No. Signers receive a secure, time-limited link via email and can sign directly in the browser.
What is an audit trail?
Every action (creation, edit, invitation, opening, signature) is logged with IP, device, and timestamp. Logs are hash-chained so tampering is detectable.
Can I get a refund?
Yes. Per Danish consumer law, a one-off purchase can be refunded if the document has not been downloaded or sent for signing.
How do you protect my data?
All data is stored encrypted in the EU. We delete data on request and provide exports in under a minute. See Privacy and DPA.
What happens if I delete my account?
Your account, profile, documents, and signatures are permanently deleted within 7 days. Already-completed documents are still kept by the signers themselves.
